A wheelthrown lidded jar in an iron-rich stoneware clay.
It’s glazed in a deep glossy tenmoku that has a lovely amber glow to it when seen in direct sunlight; the circles are left unglazed to show the colour and texture of the bare clay.
It measures 9.6cm diameter and 11.2cm high; it would make a nice jar for storing coffee beans or leaf tea. For a guide, it will hold around 200g of coffee beans!
Dishwasher safe although hand wash is recommended for best care.
