‘Forest’ mug

A wheelthrown mug with a pulled handle, in an iron rich stoneware clay.
It’s glazed in layers of tenmoku and rutile glazes, giving an impression of a forest of trees, perhaps… what do you see?
There are soft throwing lines visible in the mug as well as finger marks from the glazing; visible and tactile memories of the making process.
It measures 8.3cm diameter and 8.6cm high; capacity is around 350ml.
Dishwasher safe although hand wash is recommended for best care
